If you happen to forget that it's time for Chinese New Year, the large, dancing dragon in the mall will remind you!

Valentine's Dinner at Gaggan

For Valentine's Day, we decided to treat ourselves to a fifteen-course meal at Gaggan, the 17th best restaurant in the world according to the Michelin Guide.

Here are a few examples of the unique courses we enjoyed:

We started our Valentine feast with a shot (vile) of lemongrass and mint.

The spoonfuls of egg-filled yogurt on the right exploded after we popped them in our mouths.  The assorted spices and crushed pistachio nuts were sealed in an edible 'plastic' (rice paper) baggie.  Lastly, we enjoyed an edible, silver paper-wrapped treat of chocolate apple.

This 'charcoal surprise' looked and crunched like a lump of coal, but the taste and texture was nothing like a Kingsford briquette!

This course was a delicious lobster bisque with tender lobster, airy foam, and an edible flower.

One of the main dishes was a delicious, tender lamb chop garnished with edible flowers on asparagus.

A bit intimidating to look at, until you realize that it is a plate of airy chocolate bubbles!

Every Valentine meal should end with a sweet kiss!
